Genitourinary Health
Care for the bladder and vaginal changes of menopause, and the benefits the O-Shot may offer.

What is it?
Genitourinary syndrome of menopause describes the changes lower estrogen can cause in the vagina, vulva and bladder: dryness, irritation, urgency, more frequent urinary tract infections and leaking with a cough or sneeze.
It is very common, it tends to progress without treatment, and it is very treatable.
The benefits of the O-Shot
The O-Shot uses platelet-rich plasma from your own blood to support the health of the treated tissue. Women choose it hoping for less leaking with coughing, sneezing or exercise, less dryness and irritation, and improved comfort and sensation. It is done in the office, uses your own blood rather than a synthetic product, and usually involves little downtime. Research is still developing, so we will talk honestly about what it can realistically offer you.

How Plaza approaches it
We look at the whole picture first: an examination, your history and, where needed, tests to rule out infection or other causes.
Many women do best with a combination of approaches rather than a single treatment, and we build that plan with you.
